- Storm Prep (Sept. 5, 2008) -- Although we are hoping for nothing on this side of the mountains other than rain from Tropical Storm Hanna, we are preparing none the less. The Shack Out-Back is being secured and the basement outside drain is cleared with sandbags against the lower door.

- Abi Turns 1 (Aug 1, 2008) -- Can you believe our littlest girl has turned 1!!!!!!
- Outdoor Gathering Place Added (July 25, 2008) -- We have added a new outdoor gathering spot on the back patio.
- Sweet Strawberries (May 25, 2008) -- This afternoon, Abi sat on a blanket with us and ate strawberries freshly picked from our own strawberry patch grown within the grove.
- "Kitty Cat" (May 25, 2008) -- Yesterday and today, Abi said "Kitty Cat!" when looking at Taz.
- "Cat" (May 19, 2008) -- Abi looked at the tiger wall hanging in her room and said, "Cat!"
- Special Thanks (May 18, 2008) -- We would like to offer a special thanks to those friends and family who were kind enough to share clothing and other items for Abi. The cost it has saved for us has truly helped as the cost of everything seems to be on the rise these days.
- Look ... No Hands! (May 18, 2008) -- She can only hold it for about three seconds, but little Abi is beginning to practice at letting go while standing. This moves her one step closer to walking!
- "Duck" (May 16, 2008) -- Abi kept playing with her rubber duck during her bat and said, "Duck!"
"The Bamboo Room" is a special place within the home of Mike and Lee Tripp. It is a place where they bring friends and family to enjoy good and relaxing times together.
